Road Trip
It was a beautiful weather and I was ready for my road trip from Delhi to Taj Mahal. I woke up and brushed my and had a good breakfast. I knew it would be a long trip so I ate a lot. I brought some packs of chips and few bottle of cokes. It was a trip of about 5 hours long so I brought as many snacks as I could. We had two cars. One car was with me and my cousins and the other one was with the adults. The car was pretty big so we could fit all comfortably and enjoy the trip.

We started the trip in New Delhi and as usual Delhi is always hot so we started out sweating a bit. As we got out of Delhi the weather started become better. There was a cold breeze blowing. Me and my cousins started joking about some of the movies and songs. We spent most of our time eating and talking. Then after two hours we stopped at a diner. The diner didn’t look great like a town restaurant. We went inside and I could smell the roasted chicken. There was water dripping in my mouth. I couldn’t wait to taste the food. My dad ordered chicken biriyani for every one and roasted chicken and gravy. They didn’t have any junk food so we had no choice. When the food came to table it looked delicious and smell made me hungrier. I put the food in my mouth and it tasted amazingly delicious. The crisp of the chicken and the taste of the gravy made me feel like I was having food in heaven. I was eating really fast and plus I was hungry.

After the amazing lunch, we went back to our cars. The food made us more energetic and started to even have more fun. We started to sing and started gossip about some that we had. I didn’t really like that part because I don’t really gossiping about my friends. We finally reached the Taj Mahal after 5 hours. I was shocked by looking at the color and the texture and design of how it was made. I couldn’t believe that I finally saw the 7th wonders of the world. People were right it is beautiful. I didn’t want to leave the place, I felt like making it my home. We hung out there for a while and took some pictures. Then it was finally time to leave.
It was the best trip that I ever had. The scenes that I saw, the food that I had, everything was just great. The best part was that we went on the trip with a family.
